THE STORY

Crème Ancienne was inspired by a 2,000-year-old recipe developed by Claudius Galenus, a renowned Greek Roman scientist and physician who created various balms used on gladiators.

We preserved the balance of the formula and managed to refine it with ingredients available today, including meadowfoam seed oil and chamomile wax, to create two distinct creams that power our entire Crème Ancienne collection.

COMMON QUESTIONS

The skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate than the rest of the face—and one of the first areas to show signs of aging—so it needs to be protected and treated with special care. Blinking, squinting, eye rubbing, and removing makeup along with fatigue, dehydration, allergies, and stress can lead to puffiness, fine lines, crow’s feet, dullness, and a loss of elasticity and moisture.
