Fresh x Hetrick-Martin Institute
Fresh and HMI believe all young people—regardless of sexual orientation, gender expression, or gender identity—deserve to have a safe and supportive environment in which to achieve their full potential.
As part of our ongoing partnership, we are supporting LGBTQ+ youth by:
to HMI's 2020 Arts & Culture programming, which empowers youth to express their artistic talent through multidisciplinary mediums
Donating 1,000+ Fresh Products
to HMI’s pantry that provides everyday essentials like personal cleansing care to all members
Hosting Virtual Events
to foster a sense of community between HMI’s youth and the fresh team, especially during isolating times
Offering Career Mentorship
to HMI's youth from fresh employees on the jobs and career paths they could pursue in the beauty industry
Based in New York, the city we call home, HMI provides community, basic needs, health, education, and career services to over 2,000 LGBTQ+ youth between the ages of 13 and 24 (95% of whom identify as BIPOC) each year.
