Meadowfoam seed oil helps to nourish, smooth, and soften. Native to the Pacific Coast in Oregon, it is known for its fatty acid composition that penetrates the top layer of the epidermis for inner nourishment.

Why is Crème Ancienne handmade?

Because the heating temperatures of oil and wax are extremely challenging to control, our co-founder Lev Glazman turned to a monastery to make the cream by hand in small batches. Each ingredient is poured in a particular order and at a determined temperature to get the one-of-a-kind texture you see today.

What’s the difference between Crème Ancienne and Crème Ancienne Soft Cream?

The texture! Crème Ancienne has a nourishing, rich smoothness to it, whereas the soft cream delivers nourishment in a lightweight, whipped texture.
