How is the white truffle for this cream harvested?
Our exclusive extract is verified to be responsibly sourced from white truffles that grow wild in a designated area of the forests of Alba, Italy. Between October and December, optimal environmental conditions allow the white truffles to form. At maturation, the white truffles produce a strong smell. In a long-standing local tradition, master truffle hunters use expertly trained dogs that detect the smell and handpick the precious white truffles. The process of finding the white truffles requires patience and attention to detail. With sustainability of the rare plant a necessity, the hunters collect the truffles very carefully to ensure there will be enough truffle to grow and hunt in the future. This pristine environment helps to yield a pure white truffle. In an in-depth scientific analysis conducted by a third-party lab, over 500 elements were tested and not detected, demonstrating that there are no known traces of pesticides or impurities in our white truffles.

So far, this partnership has led to approximately 750 new trees planted, 100,000 square meters of forest maintenance, and 550 students educated on truffle preservation.
