Scent is a powerful form of expression—of who we are and have dreamed about, but also who we are becoming. The fresh Signature Fragrance Collection conjures scent journeys, sparked by the aroma of a single fresh ingredient. The wearer brings them to life, tapping into infinite possibilities to create a distinct and memorable aura.

Unlike the other senses, smell goes straight to the area connected to the hippocampus—which is responsible for memory and cognition—and the amygdala, which processes emotions. This may explain why our brain learns to associate certain smells with emotional memories.

Fragrance has been a part of fresh’s heritage from the very beginning. fresh co-founder Lev Glazman has always been deeply moved by the power of scent, how it can transport you to a specific moment and set the heart pounding. “My mother was brave enough to go to a black market and buy a smuggled fragrance,” he says. “When she opened that box in front of me and put the fragrance on herself, she transformed, but I transformed, too. This is where the seed was planted in my soul.” That seed led to the beloved fresh Signature Fragrance Collection, known for its lightweight, clean-smelling scents spanning citrus, floral, fruity, and woods.

Fragrance layering

With a few spritzes on your skin, the different scents in fresh’s Signature Fragrance Collection create a fully immersive experience. But you don’t have to pick just one! All our fragrances were designed to be worn individually or layered together. We refer to wearing more than one fresh scent at the same time as creating an aura. Every fragrance aura is as distinct as the individual—since no eau de parfum smells exactly the same on everyone.

The key to fragrance layering is to start with the “heavier” of the two scents—scents that have woody, musky, or fruity facets should be applied first. Then alternate the location of the scents—spraying one on the inside of your wrists and the back of your neck, and the other below the center collarbone and on your shoulders, for example. This allows the fragrances to mingle without merging, and it creates a unique chemistry with the wearer. You also can spray one fragrance in the morning and refresh with a different scent later in the day.

Our latest addition

This month, fresh introduced a new scent to the Signature Fragrance Collection, Lily Jasmine Eau de Parfum. Inspired by the optimism of new beginnings, this alluring floral captures the scent of a bouquet of wild lily. Featuring notes of spring muguet, jasmine sambac, and dreamy lavender, one spritz of this fragrance evokes the feeling that anything is possible.

Lily Jasmine’s bright blend of floral notes expresses the optimism that Lev felt when creating the scent. “The late spring breeze filled my room and transported me to a field of blooming lilies,” he says. “Then dreamy lavender and transparent jasmine enveloped me in an embrace of new beginnings.”

At once both joyful and wild, Lily Jasmine smells sublime on its own, or when layered with other fresh scents. Lev recommends pairing it with Hesperides Grapefruit Eau de Parfum to ground the floral with citrus fruits, or Cannabis Santal Eau de Parfum to add floral character to the woods. You can also elevate your fragrance experience by combining Lily Jasmine with fresh’s scented bodycare, such as new Rose Morning Body & Hand Wash and Rose Morning Body Lotion for a full, unforgettable bouquet.
