Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Reports to:Store Manager
Main ObjectiveEnsure that store meets and exceeds sales goals through efficient management of the staff and all operational aspects of the store. In addition the Assistant Manager is responsible for achieving his/her own sales goals. Managing:Selling = 25:75
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

Developing a client base through excellent customer service, which includes creating a friendly and cooperative environment in the neighborhood. The Assistant Manager must ensure that available customer information is entered into our database. The Assistant Manager must then ensure that the store follows-up with clients by phone and by e-mail.

The Assistant Manager must also assist in ensuring that items are being continually re-stocked, that store has adequate levels of supplies and testers, must order these by the 25th of each month and must also assist in ensuring that proper damage and tester protocol is followed at all times.

Filling out and sending necessary paperwork to corporate in a timely manner (i.e. weekly recap, petty cash request form, end of month employee performance forms, damages form, etc.)

When issues arise, the Assistant Manager needs to follow-through until issues are resolved. Responsible for security of cash drawer, receipts, and bank deposit.

Job Description:
Provide in-depth analysis of creation and implementation of processes to improve department internal operations, organizational operations issues and interactions with internal and external partners in the US and in France. Engage in mathematical modeling and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine Product Development team spending parameters. Analyze and research the Product Development Process from the concept through to execution and deliverables. Collect data, monitor and analyze the cost of goods to meet given cost targets during Product Development, in accordance with the brand's strategy and goals. Provide sound analysis to resolve issues related to change of manufacturers, and new subcontractor manufacturing process implementation. Closely work with formulation, regulatory, efficacy and toxicology experts through all the Product Development process. Participate in several Task Forces within the company such as cost reduction, China Launch, migration of EDPs manufacturing and quality control.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent*), in Business Administration, Management or a related field, plus two (2) years post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Project Manager, or a related occupation.
Expertise/knowledge on cosmetic ingredients and regulatory as well as international license in the luxury fashion industry required.
